With plans to build a private space station, Axiom Space will allow tourists to spend up to eight days in space after a training period of 15 weeks for a fee of multiple million dollars. The Axiom International Commercial Space Station will first connect with the International Space Station and finally take over the station’s management once the ISS is privatized.

Blue Origin 

Blue Origin is a space tourism company founded by Jeff Bezos. One of the main attractions of Blue Origin is that they plan to give the tourists the experience of traveling in a more traditional rocket, called the New Shepard, with fewer passengers aboard each rocket, free to enjoy more legroom as they launch into space. With multiple test flights completed, paying passengers can travel to the edge of space and experience weightlessness while traveling on a rocket ship.

SpaceX 

SpaceX has had a lot of experience launching space-bound flights, and now, founder Elon Musk intends to take SpaceX to become a more commercialized space tourism company. SpaceX wants to take paying customers out of the Earth’s orbit and allow them to experience lunar tourism with a trip around the moon. The company’s plans for space tourism haven’t been made public. Worldview 

Worldview Enterprises is a space tourism company that uses a balloon launch provider where tourists who board their pressurized capsule will be raised to the edge of space using a helium-filled balloon. Passengers aboard the Worldview capsules will enjoy multiple hours of travel that take them to elevations as high as 100,000 feet, where they can get a magnificent view of the Earth. The capsule is fully equipped with WiFi and plush seats to ensure that all passengers are as comfortable as possible while reaching new heights of the Earth’s atmosphere. Unlike other space tourism companies, passengers who want to experience space tourism with Worldview have to pay much less as the CEO wants to make the experience accessible to more people.

Orbital Assembly

Orbital Assembly has its own Voyager Station, a luxury hotel in orbit. Unlike other space tourism companies, the Orbital Assembly Voyager Station allows tourists to spend over three days on the station to have an experience like no other. The station will accommodate up to 400 guests who will experience space walks, some of the best food prepared by the best chefs, live music, etc. The station will also produce varying levels of artificial gravity, which is unheard of, to make the whole experience more enjoyable for tourists who wish to visit for a fee of a few million dollars.

Orion Span 

Orion Span is another space tourism company with plans to have a private commercial space station called Aurora Space Station. The station will be in the low Earth orbit and function like a space hotel that can host six tourists. Although they are still in the earlier planning stages, the company already has hotel reservations over several months. The station will allow tourists to stay in space for 12 days after a three-month training period. Once in space, they can have a hotel experience unlike any other.

Space Adventures

Space Adventures is a space tourism company that has successfully launched orbital spaceflights, zero-gravity flights, and astronaut training programs. The company also offers different kinds of launch tours and spacewalk training activities, and they plan to have sub-orbital flights and missions that orbit the moon in the future. Through the company, several tourists have also had the opportunity to experience several days in the International Space Station.
