The EV stocks are rallying and so are a young 12 year old investors Twitter followers. Over night, Young Investor, an investor who has his own YouTube channel from the UK has significantly grew his following and is now over 17,500 followers. He is literally becoming a FinTwit viral sensation at the time of this writing. He’s already been interviewed by the New York Times and is in the process of being a guest on the Benzinga afternoon YouTube live.
We connected with this young trader to learn a little more about how he got started, what he’s trading, and his goals for his YouTube channel.
Tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got interested in investing and what made you start a YouTube Channel?
I used to read news sites and saw investing advertisements so I decided to just give it a go! I use AssetDash for company valuations and I read seeking alpha! I simply just wanted to share my interests with others so created a YouTube channel!
What is your process for researching and learning about new trade ideas? What kind of an investor are you?
I’m a growth investor! I find some stocks on Discord and YouTube and then do my own research into them!
Here are some current stocks I like:
FUV they produce three wheel vehicles and are in a partnership with Sandy Monroe to scale to 50,000 vehicles! Sold half of my position up 110% now all I have in it is pure profit!
WKHS a risky play all on one contact will sell some on the run up!
SBE they are a SPAC merging with ChargePoint! ChargePoint is the biggest EV changing network and is expanding rapidly!
HYLN amazing tech, the ERX could be huge!
CIIG merging with Arrival amazing company UPS backed!
PSTH the SPAC by Bill Ackman he would choose an amazing company!
TTCF a plant based food company following trends of a green planet!
Tell us about how you felt when waking up to thousands of new followers? How did that happen? What are your goals for your Twitter and YouTube accounts?
It was crazy I didn’t know what was happening then I realized it was life changing! For YouTube I want 4000 subscribers and for Twitter I am aiming for 30,000 followers!
